Dimitries Jewellers are a well regarded jewellery business who had three locations amalgamating into 2 major stores after 40 years in business. The owners needed to ensure a smooth transition so it was clear to the public that the company was moving in a positive direction and not ‘closing down’.
Initially, we were engaged to complete a strategic marketing plan to give the owners a fresh lens on a strategic direction for the business as they entered a transition period.
The strategic direction was built out via the campaign we workshopped based on our brief as we landed on; ‘something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue’. The campaign included a promotional event to launch a newly designed range of jewellery and to announce the location amalgamation to a select group of invitees. The event was held one Thursday evening in late 2018 and had attendance of roughly 60 people on an invite only basis. The invitees were a mix of friends, family, media, local bloggers and our teams.
Owner and jewellery designer Amalia Stavreas was thrilled with the outcome of the night, ‘’We had around 50 new leads from the socials on the night, 10-15 new customers and we had 20-30 sales both online and in store as a result of the event.’’
The company successfully closed one of their stores and now operate out of their two remaining stores and their e-commerce platform. We have stayed in touch through various events and mutual connections since and continue to have a strong working relationship.
Love the whole team 180 Degree Marketing! Katey is enthusiastic and very professional. Her team are all gorgeously energetic and you really feel like they jump on board with your company's ethos. They are very task/result focused. I could not recommend their services highly enough. - Amalia, Owner/Jewellery Designer, Dimitries Jewellers
